Module 06

Bearings

Modelling of bearing plinths on the superstructure. The program automatically calculates the correct plinth height even for skew, curved and vertically demanding bridges.

What the module does

Correct bearings even in complex gradient conditions.

The bearing-drawing module was developed for modelling the plinths on the superstructure. Only rarely does it happen that the designed bridge lies on a straight section, whether in plan or in profile. For the bearings to be set correctly, the program draws the plinths at their minimum required height.

Module outputs

What the Bearings module generates

3D

3D model of plinths

Spatial rendering of the bearing plinths on the superstructure.

📐

Minimum heights

Automatic calculation of the minimum plinth heights.

✅

Position verification

A check that the bearing does not extend beyond the superstructure.

📋

Bearing take-off

A complete take-off of bearings and plinths.

↗️

Skew bridges

A correct solution even in extreme gradient and skew conditions.

📄

Drawings

Bearing-installation drawings for the construction documentation.
