Generation of intermediate supports with foundations straight from the bridge geometry. The program automatically determines the foundation depth from the terrain and the pier height from the superstructure geometry.
What the module does
The Substructure module lets the designer lay out intermediate supports with foundations in a very simple yet refined way. Besides the foundation shape itself, the definition also takes in the minimum height of fill over the foundation up to the defined terrain.
Types of structure
The program handles even complex support shapes — multi-element piers, piers with heads of various shapes, raking piers. Everything is generated from a single geometric definition of the bridge.
Module outputs
Spatial rendering of piers and foundations in the bridge model.
Automatic calculation of each pier's height from the superstructure geometry.
Calculation of the minimum foundation depth based on the defined terrain.
Complete concrete and reinforcement take-offs for the substructure.
Generation of pier and foundation drawings.
Support for any head shapes and multi-element piers.
